Hi. I'm Kissha Jane Talbo. I'm from Tacloban City. Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) victim and a proud survivor.
So it has been 3 months since the devastating event happened in my beloved city. But that terrible thing that shocked the whole world can't be forgotten, and will never be forgotten.
I know you feel bad about what happened. But if you were there, experiencing the torment of Yolanda, you'll feel worse.
Houses were seriously destroyed. Some people were homeless.
(if ever you can't understand the logic of this image, this is a house with no roof anymore.) |
Many Buildings were also destroyed.
Many people are homeless because of the typhoon. People were scattered everywhere, finding something to eat, something to drink and a place to stay.
People started to loot in some malls, groceries and supermarkets in order to have food to feed their hungry stomachs.
Wherever you put your eyesight on, all you can see is the wreckage of the city brought by the typhoon.
We, the typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) victims may have lost our homes, our friends, our families, our mentors, and our loved ones but we're never gonna lose hope and faith for God. This typhoon was only a challenge to us on how far we can go, how strong our faith is and how soon we can get up. This is not yet the end for us. This is only the start of something great that will happen to us. All of these things that happened is according to the great plan that God has made for all of us.
